A bill that reads like a stay
Guests read a hotel bill by looking for the room, the nights, and what got added along the way. Put the room on one line: the nights as the quantity, the tariff as the rate. Give the restaurant, laundry and anything else their own lines.
An advance paid at booking goes in the payment section, so the document shows the amount received and the balance due at check-out. A per-line discount prints as an indented note under the line it belongs to, which is how a printed bill normally shows one.
Need to request payment before the stay instead? Switch the document type to a proforma invoice. The title, the number label and the dates change with it.
GST, or no tax at all
The tax here is a single named column you control per line. If your property is below the registration threshold, or you run a homestay that does not charge tax, turn the column off and the document drops it cleanly rather than printing zeros.
If you are GST registered and need the full treatment, use our GST invoice generator instead: it works out CGST and SGST or IGST from the place of supply, checks your GSTIN as you type, and includes a hotel example with the usual accommodation and restaurant service codes. The rate stays yours to enter either way.
Your draft and PDF download
Your draft stays in this browser while you edit. Pressing Download PDF sends the document and logo to our server to create a PDF. The document is not saved on the server. Browser printing keeps the document on your device.
Your draft is saved locally so the desk can come back to it, and the Clear button removes it.
