ZimmerStack was built at working front desks, with engineers sitting beside receptionists through the morning checkout rush. The only way to learn what a desk needs at its busiest is to stand at one while it happens.
The name is the mission: Zimmer is German for room. ZimmerStack is the stack a room runs on, from the booking that fills it to the folio that closes it.
The origin story is unglamorous. A Hyderabad hotel group did the yearly math on their software and asked us whether the whole thing could be built around their actual day instead. We said yes, on one condition: we would build it at their front desks. So that is where it was built, engineers beside receptionists: the board, the folio, the KOT, the night audit, the OTA sync, payroll on the 1st. Those hotels still run on it, and they still tell us first when something is wrong.
Today ZimmerStack runs working hotels end to end, every day: the check-ins, the dinner rush, the night audit, the GST filings. The same platform runs their kitchens, their rates and their payroll, so a hotel runs seven products and pays one bill. Every feature on this website exists because a working property needed it on a specific Tuesday. When something breaks, a hotel calls us and reaches a person who has worked a front desk.
Our price is low for a structural reason, not a promotional one: one price per room, everything in the plan included, and modern infrastructure that costs less to run. The price is the business model, so it doesn't expire after year one.

Every feature runs at working front desks in production before it rolls out widely. If a receptionist won't use it during a full house, you never see it.
