The blog is dated writing about a moment. A guide is a reference we keep current. Each one prints the date its facts were last verified and the sources behind them, and we revisit the volatile ones every ninety days.
Do I have to give you an email to read them?
No. Every guide is readable in full, with no gate, no signup and no partial version. If a guide has a downloadable companion we will offer it, but the reading is always free.
Where do the numbers come from?
Published sources, listed at the bottom of each guide with the date we last opened them. Some figures vary by contract, commission rates especially. For those we publish the reported range and point you to your own agreement, because that is the only number that applies to you.
What if something is out of date?
Tell us and we will check it. A printed verification date is only worth something if somebody is watching it, and a reader who spots a stale figure is the fastest alarm we have.
